With Mother's Day is less than a month away, Apple has posted gift suggestions for the holiday.

Apple is pushing its iPad Pro to customers by putting it as the headliner under the "Perfect for Mother's Day" page. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is priced at $599 and the 12.9-inch display tablet is $799. The iPad is shown on the promotional page with the Apple Pencil and Smart Cover.

Please let this iPhone wireless charging feature actually exist

It may not happen with this year's iPhone 8, but Apple dreams of charging its future products with the help of conventional Wi-Fi routers or even other Apple products. The technology would not only offer a way for various devices to potentially be used as wireless chargers but would also fix the most annoying thing about wireless charging nowadays: You still have to place a device in the proximity of a charging mat or device. Early iPhone 8 rumors suggested the iPhone will feature wireless charging powers unlike anything currently seen on mobile devices. That's long-range wireless charging support that would allow an iPhone owner to keep using a device while the battery would recharge...

This may be Apple's first brand new iOS device since 2015

The rumors saying that Apple is working on a Siri-based Amazon Echo rival are back, with a noted insider saying that Apple is currently finalizing the design for the unnamed product. "Apple is currently finalizing designs for their Alexa competitor, expected to be marketed as a Siri/AirPlay device," Sonny Dickson said on Twitter. https://twitter.com/SonnyDickson/status/857584682677829633 Dickson, who has a decent track record when leaking details about unreleased Apple products (especially iPhones) also said the upcoming Echo rival is "believed to carry some form of Beats technology, and is expected to run [an iOS variant]." The insider did not mention anything about an actual launch...

There's one more reason I could never ditch my iPhone 7 Plus for a Galaxy S8

I penned a piece on Wednesday in which I explained the five main reasons I could never switch to the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ from my iPhone 7 Plus. While my in-depth Galaxy S8 review approached Samsung's hot new flagship smartphones from a neutral viewpoint, this new supplemental piece offered a different point of view from me, as an end user. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Samsung has out-designed Apple with its new Galaxy S8, but in this post I covered key areas where Samsung still can't even approach the iPhone. There's one more reason I could never switch to the Galaxy S8 and ditch my iPhone 7 Plus, though, and it's a reason I never thought I would have. I've received...

New leak shuts down the worst iPhone 8 rumor and hints at wireless charging

Over the past few weeks, we've heard troubling rumors that Apple is thinking about putting a Touch ID sensor on the back of the iPhone 8. The move would be necessary to eliminate the bottom bezel on the device, enabling the fitting of an edge-to-edge display that's all the hot rage in tech these days. But it would also be a middle finger to common sense, and mercifully, it seems that the rumors might be just that. A new schematic spotted (but not verified) by OnLeaks shows the back panel for some kind of iPhone 8-shaped device. It has the dual camera lenses we've heard so much about and the physical design lines up with other leaks, but there's one big difference: no cut-out for a...
