Columbus woman arrested in stabbing death of Philadelphia man

A 19-year-old Columbus woman, wanted in connection with a stabbing death of a Philadelphia man earlier this week, was in custody Friday, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Nicole Marie Rodgers of Columbus, Georgia, was arrested for the murder of Alwaleed Algheraibi, 25, on Thursday, police said.

Shortly before noon on Monday, January 23, Philadelphia Police responded to a location on Hansberry Street on reports of a person screaming.

Police and PFD-Medics located a 25-year-old white male in the third floor bathroom with a stab wound to the neck. PFD-Medic Unit pronounced the victim dead on the scene at 11:55 A.M.

Rodgers has been charged with murder, robbery, burglary, theft and related charges.
