Andrew Nembhard, the No. 31 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga University, knocked down a three as time expired in regulation to lift the Pacers over the Lakers, 116-115, after trailing by as many as 17 points in the 4th quarter. Tyrese Haliburton led the way for the Pacers with 24 points, seven rebounds, 14 assists, and zero turnovers, while Bennedict Mathurin added 23 points and eight rebounds in the victory. Anthony Davis tallied 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and four blocks for the Lakers, while Russell Westbrook (24 points, six assists) and LeBron James (21 points, seven rebounds) added a combined 45 points in the losing effort. The Pacers improve to 13-8 on the season, while the Lakers fall to 7-13.
