Police arrest murder suspect

Wichita Falls Police arrested a man and charged him with a murder that happened on Feb.11.

Officers arrested Alton Dewayne Rhodes and charged him with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury and Murder. His bond was recommended at $600,000.

According to a previous Times Record News report, On Feb 11 police responded to a report of gunshots on Colleen Drive. WFPD dispatchers told the officers someone had been shot and the suspect fled the scene.

Police found 52-year-old Charles Bolf suffering gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he died. Stay with the Times Record News for more information.
