
After an impressive 69-66 comeback win against Kansas State on Saturday, Texas climbed five spots in the latest AP Top 25 Poll this week.
The Longhorns are now the No. 5 team in the country and hold the top spot in the Big 12 Conference. Five other conference foes remained in the AP Poll this week also.
Rodney Terry's team faces a tough road test against No. 9 Kansas on Monday evening. A win in Lawrence could essentially knock the Jayhawks out of the Big 12 title race, but Kansas has only lost one game at home this season.
