Two men wanted in destruction of Blaine gas station ATM with stolen car

Two men are wanted by the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office after they were spotted on surveillance cameras breaking into a gas station with a stolen car to steal an ATM and crushing the ATM with the car before fleeing the scene.

At about 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 17, deputies responded to an alarm at a 76 gas station in the 8800 block of Blaine Road in Blaine.

Video shows two men using a tow strap to pull the ATM out of the store, then ramming the ATM with the car.

The car, a red Jeep, reported stolen out of Bellingham earlier on Jan. 17, was found by a K9 unit in the woods nearby.
